
Anetsa Kochan
graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a degree
in Animal Science. In obtaining this degree
she took many animal related courses including several on animal
behavior and management. She plans on continuing her work in
this field by attending veterinary school in the future.
While working on her degree she was able to
work in several animal related fields within a University setting.
These included positions within the Veterinary School in Medical
Imaging and the Referral Office, as well as work with Research Animal
Resources. She also has worked in the University of Wisconsin Teaching
Barn and in the Cardiology department as a volunteer. Through these
areas she has been exposed to many types of animals and learned
restraint and handling techniques.
Anetsa currently lives with her two
cats and one dog along with the two dogs that her parents own. Her dog
is an 8-month-old Border collie maremma cross, named Naboo that is
currently enrolled in classes with Teacher’s Pet. Her parents have two
Siberian huskies, Dagobah who is 8 and Iroquois who is 3.
