Emily Kochan graduated from the Madison Area Technical School with a degree in Business Management in 2003. After graduation, she worked in the Accounting department of a local Title Company in Madison. Recently, she switched jobs to work for a larger company doing work as a Project Coordinator. Emily works with Teacher's Pet as an Assistant Trainer and helps out at their yearly public events.

Emily is the younger sister of Teacher's Pet's owner, Beth Rauch. As you can tell, the love for dogs runs in the family! Emily was recently married and she and her husband quickly became parents to a Black Lab named Sadie. Emily has a strong love for animals and enjoys working at Teacher's Pet as well as taking the classes with Sadie. Before getting her own dog, she had helped train her family's yellow Labrador Retriever, Shelbie. Sadie, Shelbie, and Emily have a great time in class and enjoy learning more!
