Sarah Short
Lead and Assistant
Trainer
"Loved Sarah the trainer. She did a great job involving everyone
(dogs and owners), and she was a wealth of information! Not only
did she convey the information, she illustrated everything very
well. In addition, if there were any questions, she responded
quickly and provided additional information and materials. She is
an asset to your organization, and I plan on signing up for
additional classes!"
"Sarah and Angie are knowledgeable and caring trainers. Their
experience with animals is clear and translates to a training
session with great advice and individual attention on your dog.
Additionally, they take the time to check in and help with other
training problems outside the purview of the beginning dog-training
course. Thank you for a wonderful beginning to working with our
dog!"

Sarah Short is a graduate from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Zoology. She
currently works full time in the small animal clinic at the University
of Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH). Her
working titles there are Veterinary Assistant and Kennel manager but
she is preparing to take the Certified Veterinary Technician state
board exam this summer.
Sarah's past experience includes
working at the large and small animal hospital at the VMTH as well.
In 2005, Sarah and her husband, Joe,
became parents to a 3-year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Rusty is
now 5 years old and they can’t imagine life without him! Sarah
currently works for Teacher's Pet as both an Assistant and Team
Trainer. Her future plans include learning as much about dog
behavior as possible through seminars, books and studying to become a
CPDT and CGC certified. I hope to become more involved with
behavior consultations and go on to get her master’s degree in animal
behavior.
