Beth Rauch is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT), and the Founder of Teacher's Pet Training Academy, LLC. Beth has a Master's Degree in Veterinary Science and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Psychology and Zoology, with coursework directed towards animal behavior. Beth has over 20 years of experience with all types of animals from a variety of environments including: large and small animal veterinary clinics and hospitals, animal behavior and medical research laboratories, dog boarding, grooming, and daycare facilities. She has been training dogs since she was young and worked as a Lead Dog Obedience Instructor at a local training company prior to starting Teacher’s Pet Training Academy, LLC in 2001.
Along with training group obedience classes, Beth helps owners better manage their pets in private lessons and conducts seminars on common pet issues. In addition to her school education, Beth attends obedience seminars and is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer through the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers. She is committed to becoming a better trainer through education and incorporates only dog friendly training methods in Teacher’s Pet classes. Beth is also a member of a number of online animal behavior forums, and continually updates her library of animal behavior books.
Beth and her husband, Jeff are the proud parents of a beautiful girl named Brooke, and a Border Collie named Kelsey. Beth recently stepped down as the Owner of the company to spend more time with her family. She will still continue on as a Consultant and Trainer for the company. |
