Sarah Short

Lead Trainer

"Loved Sarah the trainer.  She did a great job involving everyone (dogs and owners), and she was a wealth of information!  Not only did she convey the information, she illustrated everything very well.  In addition, if there were any questions, she responded quickly and provided additional information and materials.  She is an asset to your organization, and I plan on signing up for additional classes!"

Sarah Short is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Zoology. She currently works full time in the small animal clinic at the University of Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH). Her working titles there are Certified Veterinary Technician and Kennel manager. Sarah's past experience includes working at the large animal hospital at the VMTH as well.

Sarah and her husband, Joe, are parents to a very mellow Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Rusty and a more energetic mini Australian Shepherd named Rooke. Rusty and Rooke are soon to be a big brother and big sister to Joe and Sarah's first human child, Benjamin who is expected in December 2009.  Sarah currently works for Teacher's Pet as a Lead Trainer. Her future plans include learning as much about dog behavior as possible through seminars, books and studying to become a CPDT. She also hopes to become more involved with behavior consultations and go on to get her master’s degree in animal behavior.
